The Swan Lake National Wildlife Refuge was established to provide nesting, resting and feeding area for waterfowl. The Refuge management priority goals include; enhance refuge habitats to maintain or increase use by endangered species, provide necessary food and protection to support migrating and wintering Canada geese and other waterfowl, and maintain wildlife diversity.
