description: The U.S. Geological Survey in cooperation with the Harris-Galveston Subsidence District, City of Houston, Fort Bend Subsidence District, and Lone Star Groundwater Conservation District created this dataset that provides water level measurements, altitudes, and changes in water-level altitudes in the Chicot, Evangeline, and Jasper aquifers in the Houston Galveston region, Texas. The dataset shows current-year (2016-17) water-level altitudes, depth to water, and 1-year (2016-17) water-level changes of select wells screened in the Chicot, Jasper, or Evangeline aquifers.
